More About Us

About Us:

We are a non-denominational group who desire to see the kingdom of God established on earth. Worship, exercising spiritual gifts and biblical teaching are some of the ways we do this. We believe that God desires to have a personal relationship with every person regardless of their background or age. We are committed as a community to provide a safe place where you can begin or continue your journey of union with Christ. Jesus is the servant of all and serving others reflects his nature and his love. We believe both spiritual and emotional maturity are paramount to stepping into the fullness of your original design, the purpose for which you were created. We desire to be a place to learn, to grow, and to heal. A place where you have access to principles, teaching and tools to guide and help develop your personal character and your walk with God. We believe that your continued growth is expected on a continuum towards maturity.

Bringing the Mission to Life:

Equip:

This is the practical application of tools that lead people toward continual transformation. Courses, home groups and ministry training are some examples. The goal of equipping is to see people mature to the place where they themselves become the equippers.

“To equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up”.— Ephesians 4:12

Community:

We are created by God for life long relationships. We want and need to have other people unconditionally and unselfishly committed to us, and we to them. We are a loving community that constantly equips and encourages the needs of all people especially the stranger, the marginalized and the poor.

All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord's supper), and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. — Acts 2:42-43 NIV

Experiences/Presence of God

This is living in today, present in the right now, choosing to love and surrender personal wants and desires because God invites us to a better way. This is an embracing of joy and knowing we don’t need all the answers because we walk in freedom with God and others. The manifest presence of the Lord is experiencing God’s presence through one or more of the five senses but in a supernatural way that cannot be created by human means.

“Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.” — Matthew 6:34 MSG

“You have shown me the way of life, and you will fill me with the joy of your presence.” —Acts 2:28

“Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah.” —Acts 3:20

Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence. — Ephesians 3:12

Transformation:

We seek to be transformed, to be whole and authentic people. To be transformed by the renewing of our mind, while resisting being conformed by the world.

“Don’t copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” — Romans 12:2 NLT
